Polls

Polls are used when the page wants a quick opinion on something that was just shown, usually an announcement, update, or design change. They sit under the main content so feedback can happen after the main message has already been read.

Example Poll

A poll usually appears when the portal wants opinions on an update, announcement, or the current state of a page. The question stays short, the answers stay simple, and the result bars show how people are leaning overall.

What Polls Usually Mean

On the page, a poll usually means the portal is checking how something landed. Instead of being part of the main explanation, it works more like a quick follow-up opinion prompt underneath it.

Selection State

The selected option stays stronger than the rest, while the other options remain quieter in the background. That keeps it easy to see both the chosen answer and the overall split between opinions.

Deep Links

Each poll can have its own unique hash link, so copying #board-live-website-feedback can take someone straight to that poll on the Board instead of only landing at the top of the announcement.
