Reading the Portal

Every Developer Portal page follows the same broad structure, so once you understand this layout, the rest of the portal becomes much easier to scan quickly.

Page Header

The large header at the top introduces the current page and gives a short description of what that page covers. On some pages, a small status line may appear above the title when extra context matters.

If a page is marked as work in progress, the header shows a yellow status label above the main title.

Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar groups Developer Portal pages into sections so you can move by topic instead of memorizing routes. The search bar at the top filters page labels, descriptions, and paths to help you jump around faster.

The sidebar is by far the most useful when you are browsing by topic, while the search field is faster when you already know roughly what you need.

Sticky Index

The index on the right is built from theh2 andh3headings inside the page content. As you scroll, the active section updates automatically so it is easy to see where you are.

Supporting Notes

On some pages, a small note can appear under the index. These notes are meant for short page-specific context that helps without taking over the main content column.
